Club pro Michael Block came so close to another hole-in-one at the Charles Schwab Challenge

Golf club pro Michael Block is continuing to prove why he’s playing on the PGA Tour at this week’s Charles Schwab Challenge.

Block had an emotional reaction to being invited to the ongoing tournament after his stellar performance at the PGA Championship where he notched a hole-in-one and brushed elbows with elite golfers like Rory McIlroy.

During Thursday’s opening rounds of the Charles Schwab Challenge, Block made sure he wasn’t going to waste his chance to compete among some of golf’s best players.

On the par-3 hole No. 4, Block cleaned up an easy birdie putt after coming oh so close to dropping the ball in the cup on his first hit.

Just inches away from rewarding bettors who wagered on Block keeping his PGA Championship momentum, as he posted +2000 odds to post an eagle or better at the Charles Schwab Challenge.

While Block might not become a regular fixture on the PGA Tour, he’s soaking in his big moment and proving why he deserves to be on the green with the luminaries of the sport.
